{"id":1272,"date":"2025-01-09T11:37:46","date_gmt":"2025-01-09T07:37:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.utilitybusinessmena.com\/?p=1272"},"modified":"2025-01-09T11:37:46","modified_gmt":"2025-01-09T07:37:46","slug":"arab-energy-fund-led-consortium-acquires-dubais-metito-utilities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cheeltech.com\/utilitybusinessmena\/news\/arab-energy-fund-led-consortium-acquires-dubais-metito-utilities","title":{"rendered":"Arab Energy Fund-led consortium acquires Dubai\u2019s Metito utilities"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A consortium led by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.utilitybusinessmena.com\/renewable-energy\/wind-energy\/acwa-power-secures-692-million-financing-for-egyptian-wind-farm\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"1265\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Arab Energy Fund (TAEF)<\/a>, formerly known as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.utilitybusinessmena.com\/solar\/jinko-power-secures-financial-close-for-400-mw-tabarjal-solar-project-in-saudi-arabia\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"1060\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Apicorp,<\/a> has acquired a 100% stake in Metito Utilities, a Dubai-based water and wastewater project developer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The deal, conducted in partnership with Saudi Arabia\u2019s Zamil Group Investment Company and the Ghandour family, marks a major move in the region\u2019s water infrastructure sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Metito, with over 25 years of expertise, has built a solid reputation in the investment, development, and long-term operation of water and wastewater concessions.
