Pearl Group has launched a solar project with TotalEnergies<\/a> to power three of its UAE production sites, a project aimed at lowering the environmental<\/a> footprint of its industrial operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pearl, a global player in polyurethane insulation, has installed 1,653 solar photovoltaic<\/a> (PV) panels at its sites in Dubai Investments Park (DIP) and Ras Al Khor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The panels will generate a projected 1,336 megawatt-hours of electricity each year, contributing to a reduction of approximately 568 tons in CO\u2082 emissions annually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The move is a major step for Pearl Group, which has publicly committed to enhancing sustainability practices across its operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe installation of solar power systems across our Dubai sites is a testament to our unwavering commitment to sustainability,\u201d said Pearl CEO Martin Kruczinna. He added that the partnership with TotalEnergies aligns with Pearl\u2019s long-term vision to reduce reliance on fossil fuels and advance renewable energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The installation spans three key sites. At DIP South, the solar capacity reaches 372 kWp, while DIP North provides 359 kWp. The Ras Al Khor facility, meanwhile, has a capacity of 90 kWp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Together, the installations are expected to not only meet a substantial portion of the facilities\u2019 energy needs but also contribute excess power to the local grid, supporting broader community sustainability goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For TotalEnergies, the project highlights its growing role in providing distributed renewable energy solutions to industries in the Middle East and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pearl Group has been expanding its renewable energy footprint as it looks to reduce costs and lower emissions across its global operations. Beyond financial savings, which Pearl Group anticipates through lower electricity costs, the environmental impact aligns with both local and international goals for carbon reduction.
