EMSTEEL Group<\/a>, the UAE\u2019s largest publicly listed steel and building materials manufacturer, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Tadweer Group<\/a>, a leading provider of waste management and recycling services in Abu Dhabi, to explore the use of alternative fuels and raw materials for producing green building materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The collaboration reflects both companies’ commitment to sustainability and the UAE’s ambitious Net Zero 2050 Strategy<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The MOU outlines plans to integrate Tadweer\u2019s production of Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) and processed Construction and Demolition Waste (CDW) into EMSTEEL\u2019s manufacturing facilities, including the Al Ain Cement Plant and Emirates Block Factory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By harnessing waste materials as inputs, the initiative aims to reduce landfill waste<\/a>, lower carbon emissions, and advance the production of environmentally friendly construction materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
