The 1.1-gigawatt (GW) wind farm, located in the Gulf of Suez, is set to deliver over 4,300 GWh of clean energy annually

The Gainfar and Boitekong projects, both located in the Free State province, will deliver over 300MWh of battery energy storage capacity each.

The solar PV plants will be located in Al Faya, Al Khazna, and Al Zarraf, while the wind farm will be sited in Sila.

The project, known as Rabigh 2, is part of the Kingdom’s ambitious renewable energy goals under its National Renewable Energy Program (NREP).

The project will feature a 500-kilowatt-peak (kWp) solar carport system equipped with over 870 bifacial solar panels.
