SWCC informed all tender participants on December 16 that the tender was canceled due to “internal administrative procedures.”
The Saudi Water Partnerships Company (SWPC) announced the decision after completing its evaluation of bids from the private sector.
The deal involves the development of an advanced Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system across TAQA Water Solution’s wastewater treatment infrastructure.
The facility is designed to enhance water storage capacity and reliability in line with Dubai’s growing demand and sustainability goals.
The state-of-the-art facility, which began commercial operations on June 22, 2024, is located in Wilayat of Barka in the South Al Batinah Governorate.
The state-of-the-art facility will produce 180 million gallons per day (MIGD) upon completion in 2027.
