The project, part of Saudi Arabia’s Liquid Fuel Substitution Program, aims to provide the plant with a 92.2 MVA electricity load capacity, reducing reliance on liquid fuels.

Located in Oxagon, NEOM, Saudi Arabia, the mega-plant integrates up to 4GW of solar and wind energy to produce 600 tonnes of green hydrogen per day by the end of 2026.

The projects include infrastructure development, MEP contracts, and wastewater treatment initiatives

Located in the strategically positioned Mesaieed Industrial City, the facility will benefit from integrated infrastructure and a major port that is one of the Middle East’s largest petrochemical export hubs.

Facility E will feature a natural gas-fired power plant with a capacity of 2,400 MW and a seawater desalination facility capable of producing 110 MIGD

The $2.84 billion contract was awarded by Japan’s Sumitomo Corporation.
